To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online data and information practices. This notice applies to all information collected from or submitted to the AOI Website. In this notice, we refer to (our web site). Our Web site may contain links to other third party websites. AOI is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of such third party sites.

Information We Collect

Our Web site tracks certain information about each visit. Among other things, we compile statistics that show the numbers and frequency of visitors and individual pages visited. We use these statistics internally in aggregated form to improve our Web site and for product development and marketing purposes generally. We may also provide aggregated statistics to third parties such as advertisers. The statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

In a few areas on our Web site, we may ask you to provide information that will enable us to verify whether you are entitled to access and use certain information, materials and services, or to enable us to enhance your site visit, to assist you with customer service or technical support issues, or to follow up with you after your visit, or to otherwise support your broker or client relationship with AOI. While participation by you is optional, failure to participate may mean that you cannot access and use certain information, materials and services.

We typically ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, address, the type of business you are in, product preference information, any applicable identification number or password that we may require, as well as other similar personal information that is needed to register or subscribe you to services or offers. We may also ask for additional information so we can provide you with access to and use of certain information, materials and services.

How We Use Information

We keep confidential the personal information you provide through our Web site and we use it to support your broker or client relationship with AOI. It also may be used to notify you of special offers, updated information and new products and services from AOI or offers from third parties that we think may be of interest to you. Agents or contractors of AOI who are given access to your personal information are obligated to keep the information confidential and not use it for any other purpose than to carry out the services they are performing for AOI.

AOI may enhance or merge your information collected at its site with data from third parties for purposes of marketing products or services to you.

Circumstances may arise where we are required to disclose your personal information to third parties for purposes other than to support your broker client relationship with AOI. For example, we may disclose your information in connection with a divestiture or dissolution where we sell all or a portion of our business or assets (including our associated customer lists containing your personal information), or if disclosure is required by law or is pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations or proceedings. This privacy policy is governed by our general terms and conditions of use for our Web site and we expect that when you use our Web site, you will continue to abide by these general terms and conditions.

A “cookie” is a small data text file that is placed in your browser and allows AOI to recognize you each time you visit this site (customization, etc.). Cookies themselves do not contain any personal information, and AOI does not use cookies to collect personal information.

We will send you information about our various products and services, or other products and services we feel may be of interest to you. Only AOI (or brokers or agents working on behalf of AOI and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings. If you do not want to receive such mailings, simply tell us when you give us your personal information.
